For further reflection:

1) Why do you think Jesus says only a few find the narrow way? What makes it hard? How can we stay on the narrow path, especially when the wide one feels easier?

2) Jesus says false prophets come in "sheep's clothing" —what might that look like in modern terms? How can we guard ourselves and others in our community from deceptive influences?

3) In what areas of your life do you feel challenged by Jesus' words in this passage? Reflect on the whole sermon on the mount. What do you feel needs to be more in alignment with the narrow path?
