Our History

Early Years...

In 1978, several families met together in regular prayer in hopes that God would raise up an independent Bible church in this area. We sought to form a non-denominational local congregation based solidly on the Word of God. In September of 1978, Faith Community Church held its first service with Ed Regensburg as our Pastor. In the early years, we met in St. Johns Chapel in Gambrills and then later moved to Arundel Senior High School before building the present facilities. Pastor Regensburg continued to shepherd the flock for 36 years until he retired in March 2013.

Growing...

We have always been active in our support for world-wide missions. We have been blessed to have many families and individuals from our congregation leave us to go into full time missionary or pastoral work. We are deeply grateful to God for the privilege to see families and young people discipled and carry their passion for Christ to the four corners of the world. During the years we have been blessed with much growth taking place and many new ministries and staff being added along the way.

Looking Forward...

We continue to look for creative ways to impact our community and the world with the Gospel and are excited to see what God will do in us, and through us in the future. We seek to improve ways we connect with each other for encouragement and discipleship, we want to improve our use of virtual media, and become more active serving our community as we point people to Christ
