ABS (Adult Bible Study) A three-week study began October 29 at 9 am. A Better Country: Preparing for Heaven. What picture comes to mind when you think about heaven? Most of us have heard that heaven is a wonderful place and everyone wants to go there; yet there is a universal “longing for a better country, a heavenly one” (Hebrews 11:16).
In this study, we will discover that thing we’ve always wanted; that world we’ve longed for; that life we were meant to live; that goal we were meant to pursue—in a word, heaven.

Please join us for two new ABS series on Sunday mornings beginning  November 19. The first service class (9 am) will study I Corinthians.

The church at Corinth struggled with a number of issues, and this letter was written to encourage them (and us!) to live out their faith in Christ in a way that glorifies God! Meets in Activity Room #1.

The second service class (10:30 a.m.) will be the Gospel of Mark, taking a close look at the life of Christ and learning what it means to live as a genuine servant and disciple of Jesus. Meets in Activity Room #1

HERMENEUTICS: THE ART AND SCIENCE OF INTERPRETING THE BIBLE:
A new young-adult-focused (others are welcome) Bible study began November 5th at 10:30 a.m. in Classroom 8. Please Join us. There
is still room. We will spend 7 weeks, using the Bible to learn principles of interpreting the Bible. Beginning in January, we will apply these principles to a study of Paul’s letter to the Romans. The class will primarily be led by Brian Jenkins and Caleb Gowan.

ALSO....
Sunday morning at 9:00 AM our FCC kids classes are grouped by age levels Nursery – 5th grade. In our kids class we provide worship through music, prayer, snack, Bible lesson, Scripture memorization, missionary of the month prayer, games or craft (all reinforcing the Bible lesson) and lots and lots of fun!

At 10:30 we have Nursery and KidZone. KidZone is our time for Pre-K through 5th grade to worship through music, games and a Bible lesson.

Your child will be with our team of loving and trained volunteers. Each teacher and assistant has reviewed our safety and security policies along with having a background check. All children must be checked in by a parent/guardian prior to class. Parent/guardian must show their corresponding label when picking up their child.

To join our Children’s Ministry team of volunteers please contact Amy McDougall at: amy@faithcommunity.net

Registration is requested for children as we use positive ID in our check-in system and it is a great help to have them pre-registered.
